We’re delighted to have helped our wonderful client Cornish Metals with the design and production of its inaugural Sustainability Report, which puts clarity, transparency, and stakeholder engagement at its core. The report follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, ensuring that its structure and disclosures align with internationally recognized best practices.
Cornish Metals is a dual-listed company working towards re-opening its 100% owned, fully permitted South Crofty underground tin mine located in Cornwall, UK. South Crofty is one of the highest-grade tin resources globally with potential to become a new, low-cost global producer. The Company also holds other mineral rights in Cornwall with potential for discovery of tin, copper, lithium, tungsten, zinc and silver mineralisation.
Visually, we designed the Sustainability Report to be streamlined and professional, reflecting the company’s commitment to responsible mining and corporate accountability. It presents key sustainability pillars - governance and ethics, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship - in a way that is both accessible and informative, establishing a strong baseline for future reporting.
The design process was guided by a double materiality assessment, which helped prioritize the most relevant issues for both the company and its stakeholders. This thoughtful approach is evident in the report’s layout, which balances narrative with data-driven insights.
Infographics and concise summaries enhance readability, while the inclusion of stakeholder voices and community engagement efforts adds a human dimension. Overall, the report’s design not only communicates Cornish Metals’ sustainability performance but also reinforces its long-term vision of contributing to the UK’s low-carbon future through responsible resource development.
